Voyager Interiors is continuing to evolve as an unparalleled 'one-stop design shop'. With ongoing development of premium international and local product lines, Voyager is a destination for metro, regional, interstate and indeed international clients alike.

We are seeking experienced, enthusiastic Retail and Design Consultants to assist us in providing solutions to customers looking to furnish and accessorise their homes and interior spaces. Reporting to the Manager, the Retail Sales and Design Consultants are responsible for delivering a high quality retail sales service, presenting the broad range of Voyager products and styles.

The successful candidates will have a passion for all things interiors. The ability to effectively communicate and engage with customers is essential, as is the ability to quickly identify customer needs and offer appropriate solutions.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • a minimum of 5 years experience in furniture sales and/or interiors
  • a genuine passion for beautiful interiors
  • strong sales skills with a proven ability in consistently achieving sales targets
  • exceptional customer service skills with a track record of building strong, long term customer relationships
  • an ability to provide coordinated interior solutions across a broad range of interior styles
  • Take the leadership role with the trade program, focusing on developing the business with existing trade clients, whilst attracting new clients.
  • Coordinate the communication with trade clients, including store introductions,events and marketing supported activities.
  • strong attention to detail and thoroughness
  • strong problem solving skills pre- and post-sale
  • the ability to work within a fast-paced sales target oriented environment is critical, along with a capacity for genuine collaboration and team work
  • intermediate computer skills required (email, Word documents, Basic MS Office applications etc.) and experience with MYOB Retail Manager (desirable)

The successful candidates will enjoy a remuneration package commensurate with experience. Weekend work is a requirement of this role.
