About the Practice
Our Client is an independent practice set in the southern Suburbs of Newcastle who prides itself with tailored Ophtalmic care to their patients ‘individual needs right from start. Since their inception over 20 years ago, their patients have shown continuous support for their professionalism to care for one of the most important senses, their sights.
 

Your new role
As a full time Optical Dispenser you will work closely with the store Manager, Principal Optometrist and will play a key role in providing high quality services to the local community. From a warm welcome through to helping with selecting the right products for their eyewear and care needs. You will get to know your customers, build great rapport, putting them at ease and get a real feeling of satisfaction from helping them look and feel great.
 
You will be a good listener and have great communication skills, be able to share with your customers current offers and dispense different types of lenses.
 

To be Successful 
The successful applicant will approach the role with a commercial and strategic mindset whilst not compromising on quality of service.

They will also demonstrate the following training and experience and skills:

• Cert IV Optical dispenser
• Minimum 1 year experience working in a similar role
• High attention to details
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently when required as well as part of a team
•  Willingness to go above and beyond to provide outstanding service to customers
