As a leader in street gear for the whole family, this brand is looking for a dynamic minded Senior State Manager to join their team in NSW to oversee over 45 high profile, high turnover stores and 7 Area Managers. With 300+ employees, the latest trends and an upbeat shopping experience, they are truly the leader in their industry for quality, design and layout. They are the aspirational destination for the fashion savvy, with new and exclusive collections weekly.

As the most senior State Manager in the company, you will report into the National Sales Manager and be their right hand person for feedback and national direction. You must be highly motivated and passionate about connecting with your customer and engaging your team. Driven to succeed you will lead by example and develop your team, being dedicated to delivering outstanding sales results and customer service excellence across the State. With high attention to detail with VM, alongside a commercial mindset, you will not only inspire others but continue to drive market share and loyalty.

As State Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Achieving sales, wages, KPI’s and shrinkage budgets for the State.
  • Delivering and maintaining exceptional customer service standards.
  • Ensuring high VM standards are adhered to.
  • Monitoring of rosters to achieve wage budget for the State.
  • Balancing customer care, team management and administrative duties.
  • All aspects of staff training and development.
  • Development of 7 Area Managers through feedback, store visits and strategic planning.
  • Working with your National Manager to maximise every possible opportunity to make your region continue to be number one.
  • Involvement in State and National Projects to better the brand. 

To be successful in this role you must have:

  • Previous high volume retail area management experience.
  • Experience in building, managing and coaching teams.
  • Experience in Managing Area Managers is a MUST. 
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Exceptional customer connection.
  • Strong desire to build and progress your retail career.
