The Role

We currently have an exciting permanent full-time opportunity for a motivated and sales focussed individual to join our team as a Customer Service Consultant at our Pitt Street store. This role will require you to be available for shifts between Monday and Sunday.

The purpose of this role is to deliver unbelievable customer experiences within the Concept Store environment, through positive interactions, exploring customer needs and matching these needs to products and services that suit each customers’ unique situation. This role would be well suited to an experienced banker who is looking for a new and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities

Your daily duties will include:

  • Meeting and greeting customers at our innovative concept store
  • Evaluating and exploring customer needs and providing relevant information, support, and directing the customer to the appropriate person
  • Ensuring every customer has a memorable experience in store
  • Facilitation, education and support of customers in the use of self service and digital financial service opportunities for Suncorp products.
  • Educating customers on specific products best suited to them
  • Proactively identifying opportunities for Suncorp products

Training

Full time training is provided for 6 weeks (4 weeks in your local capital city, 2 weeks in your store).

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience in banking roles requiring growth and retention of a customer base in branch
  • Strong knowledge of banking and financial products
  • A high level of enthusiasm and drive
  • A genuine interest in career progression
  • An excellent eye for detail
  • The ability to provide quality customer service and develop relationships
  • Well-developed communication skills both written and spoken
