Guardian Funerals has more than 50 years of experience in tailoring funeral services to the needs and values of families in Sydney and the Northern Rivers area of New South Wales.
We have over 30 Guardian funeral homes in our network in New South Wales and the ACT.
The longest established Guardian Funerals branded locations began serving the local communities in Richmond and Windsor in 1885.
We are currently seeking a Location Supervisor to join our team in Burwood, NSW
In this role you will be responsible for the delivery of services to Guardian Funerals clients and building strong internal and external relationships. The role will also focus on developing the funeral brand in the local community, and a desire to achieve community connection is essential.
Duties:
- Meet with families initially and provide advice and guidance on their options
- Align our service offering with the needs of families
- Manage branch operations in finance, marketing, assets and customer service delivery
- Oversee operations throughout the arrangement process and on the funeral day
- Contribute to branch sales targets
Skills and Experience:
- Proven track record of delivering a high level of customer service
- The ability to confidently sell products and services based on the needs of the client
- Current status as Justice of the Peace or eligibility to become certified
- Current unrestricted drivers licence
- A community focussed mindset and well-developed interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as a part of a team
Applicants will also be expected to perform a full variety of funeral duties and should possess a mature, caring and understanding nature together with well-developed interpersonal skills and the highest level of standards.
