This is a Senior Level Role.
Qualifications
- Degree qualifications in marketing, communications, or equivalent.
Experience
- Extensive experience in leading, developing and implementing effective marketing communications strategies and activities (typically 10 years plus).
- Broad experience and quantified achievement in developing, managing and implementing Marketing
Plans
- Experience in the marketing of a large and complex organisation and/or destinations.
- Clear understanding of how to work within partnerships internally and externally to deliver agreed outcomes.
Skills
- Proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships at all levels of the organisation.
- Clear, proven ability to lead and influence others.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Well organised and capable of working under great pressure.
- Able to lead and implement change management: To encourage accountability and ensure that work plans and activities both support and are consistent with organisational change initiatives.
- Advanced problem solving and decision making abilities - especially working with line managers to resolve urgent, complex and often sensitive issues.
- Strong financial and strategic business acumen.
- The proven ability to manage high level alliances within the organisation and across the public and private sectors with all the key stakeholders.
- The ability to deliver persuasive, cogent and well informed advice.
