Our client, a large government organisation, currently require an experienced Communications Advisor to join their team on an initial 6 month contract. The role will be located in Parramatta and will be paying $56 per hour plus super.
The Role:
While the role is primarily internal communications, from time to time you will also be involved in delivering external communications and the role reports to the Communications Manager. The client is looking for an exceptional writer, preferably with experience in internal communications. You will be part of a high performing communications team that delivers a diverse range of communications services to support the strategic and divisional plans of the business.
Key accountabilities
• Writing and publishing internal newsletter and writing stories for the internal blog.
• Liaising with internal stakeholders.
• Delivering communications on change projects and activities.
• Delivering communications on staff engagement activities.
Essential Requirements:
· Must have exceptional writing skills with the ability to write in plain English.
· Must have strong understanding of various digital channels and have excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
· Must have experience operating in similar role.
· Previous government experience.
