Ticketek's marketing team is looking for a sports mad marketing executive join the team. Not only will you get to live and breathe your passion for all sports in your day to day work life, you'll be exposed to the workings of a full inhouse marketing team. Ticketek sells over 23 million tickets to more than 20,000 events each year, including concerts, sports, theatre, musicals, festivals, exhibitions, experiences and family events.


The Role

The purpose of this role is to plan and execute marketing campaigns for Ticketek's sport clients, acting as an extension of each client's marketing division. The Sports Media Executive will need to manage the end to end campaign process including:

  • Taking an initial brief from the client
  • Creating/booking a marketing schedule with internal teams
  • Providing/Presenting a proposal for paid marketing channels
  • Securing creative assets from clients
  • Trouble shooting, objection handling and campaign amendments
  • Providing campaign reporting and insights on a weekly/fortnightly or monthly basis
  • Presenting an end of campaign wrap up report and recommendations
  • Invoicing and revenue target management

 

The Sports Media Executive will be responsible for managing the end to end campaign process for a list of sporting client from around the country and achieving quarterly team revenue targets.


The Person

As a Sports Media Executive you will have:

  • At least 4 years marketing experience working across multiple digital channels including Programmatic, social (paid and organic) search, email and mobile.
  • Experience managing client campaigns with proven track record of client success.
  • Understanding of digital media landscape and knowledgeable on digital media terminology and principals such as brand safety, viewability, attribution etc..
  • A passion and knowledge for sport and the Australian and international sporting landscape.
  • Strong Powerpoint and Excel skills (Photoshop desirable, but not essential).
  • Excellent Planning and organisational skills.
  • Accountability / Responsibility – holds self-responsible and accountable for results and outcomes.  Demonstrates commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Client/Customer Focus/Value – pursues course of action, method, strategy, initiative, etc… whose outcome will create and deliver value to the client/customer.
  • Written and Verbal Communication - Ability to write proposals and other documents, and to engage with clients.
  • Presentation Skills – ability to develop and present proposals/presentations and other submissions to major clients.
