Tennis Australia recognises the evolution of the AO from a tennis tournament to a leading sports entertainment event and as such, has formed an exciting new team to focus on developing innovative forms of entertainment that enhance the overall AO experience.
As the Experiential Co-ordinator in the Commercial Department, you are a key support in delivering and championing commercial creativity in the business. You will be part of a highly motivated team of passionate people, who are constantly working towards raising the quality of the fan experience at the Australian Open, and genuinely love what they do.
You are a modern creator – someone that has a culture of possibility and opportunity in their DNA, and is passionate about coming up with and contributing to great ideas, and finding ways to make them happen.
Your purpose is to support the Experiential Team in creating and delivering integrated, world-class ideas, activations, or experiences, that do one of three things:
1) Attract new crowds to the Australian Open;
2) Improve the fan experience at the Australian Open; or
3) Drive additional commercial revenue.
This role will be specifically be responsible for executing all of the experiential activities at the AO Festival. As the main entrance to the AO, the AO Festival is a critical touchpoint along the fan journey and as such will require a memorable experience that entices fans through this entrance, encouraging ticketing or secondary purchases, and informing fans of the journey ahead in an exciting way.
You will work with the AO Festival Project Group, acting as both an Experiential and Commercial team representative while working closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure the original creative idea is flawlessly implemented, with key Commercial Team requirements communicated to the project group as relevant.
