The Role

Under the leadership, guidance and support of the National Marketing Manager, the Brand Activation Coordinator is responsible for planning and bringing alive our key brands and associated campaigns in the market. Over any given week this role will develop, deliver and support a variety of marketing and advertising initiaitives; from planning and executing communications, coordinaating product launches and events, managing sponsorhips to leading the creative design team. Continuous improvement and innovation is strongly supported within the business, so there will be plenty of opportunity for growth; in both the role and yourself.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Plan and coordinate lead/demand generation activities such as industry associated events, product launches, brand campaigns & PR initiatives
  • Coordinate the development of all creative material/content for brand and product communications including POS collateral and digital assets
  • Create/edit content (copy) for promotional collateral – exceptional grammar is a must
  • Focus on data driven insights, campaign optimisation and ROI delivery
  • Ownership of the market execution of brand strategies
  • Ownership of agency and partner relationships (briefing and managing relations)
  • Work closely within a cross functional team (including Sales & Product Management) to bring new products to life, ensuring product launch success
  • Developing sales support tools with the sales team
  • Preparing and managing detailed project plan

About You

You will be a team player with strong influencing skills who gets things done. Your attention to detail will be scond to none, as will your ability to juggle competing demands on your time as you deliver projects on time and within budget. You are solutions orientated, with a positive attitude. As equally important, you are hands-on, self-motivated and passionate about driving brand growth and increasing brand penetration. Project management experience is an essential component of this role, as is demonstrating your ability to coordinate a multi-level brand strategy.

Skills & Experience:

  • Tertiary qualification in either Business/Commerce, majoring/specialising in Marketing
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in marketing communications
  • Good knowledge and application of Brand Management
  • Strong experience with brand growth/increasing brand penetration
  • Proven success and experience in managing multiple tasks and key projects
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Project and time management excellence
  • Demonstrated end to end ATL, BTL and TTL campaign marketing experience
  • Problem solving skills and a positive and can-do attitude
  • Ability to multi task and prioritise
  • Strategic thinker
  • Takes ownership and responsibility for work, is proactive not reactive
