The opportunity?

As part of Toll Group’s new growth strategy, an opportunity has become available for a Bid Solutions Coordinator to join the Global Logistics team and be responsible for coordinating the preparation of the bid and proposal submissions for allocated projects, undertaking effective measures to ensure all documents are constructed in accordance with prescribed detail using the correct Toll branding, current information and consistency with Toll messaging.

Key accountabilities and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Providing support in the coordination of bid response related activity material (EOI, RFP, RFQ etc.), including sales proposals, presentations and quotations
  • Ensuring all documents are constructed in accordance with prescribed detail using the correct Toll branding, current information and are consistent with Toll messaging and in line with the bid strategy
  • Coordinating the end to end bid process, ensuring time lines are adhered to and communicated to all stakeholders
  • Creating the bid management plan and coordinating the responsibilities and roles in the process are allocated, and that the appropriate response information is requested and received in line with the bid strategy
  • Maintaining the document library keeping it complete and up to date, including containing all submitted bid documents, standard sections, images, quality certification documents, case studies & general information used for bid development
  • Ensuring that all activities are conducted in accordance with relevant policies, procedures and legislative requirements, to ensure safety to staff, the community and the environment

The ideal candidate?

The ideal candidate will have significant demonstrated experience working in a sales environment within a transport and logistics organisation. They will have had experience in coordinating large and complex bids, and maintain awareness of opportunities and tools to seek out bid/ tender opportunities. They will possess strong communication and organisational skills along with a strong attention to detail and advanced skills in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite (experience with InDesign highly regarded). They will also be a team player with a personal commitment to meeting deadlines, using initiative and driving results.
