Role details:
My Parramatta based client is looking for an exceptional writer, preferably with experience in internal communications. You will be part of a high performing communications team that delivers a diverse range of communications services to support the strategic and divisional plans of the business.
While the role is primarily internal communications, from time to time you will also be involved in delivering external communications. The role reports to the Communications Manager.
Primary responsibilities of the role include:
- Writing and publishing internal newsletter and writing stories for the internal blog
- Liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure my clients internal communication is aligned with the wider organisation
- Manage intranet pages
- Delivering communications on change projects and activities
- Delivering communications on staff engagement activities
- Producing reports as required
- Working with a project team and overseeing the implementation of collateral rebranding
- If requited to interview must be able to provide writing samples of previous work.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Plain English writing is a must.
- You need to have a flair for writing – and can easily switch styles between blog articles and leadership communications.
- You need to have strong understanding of various digital channels and have excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
- My client is looking for someone who can start ASAP.
- A previous government background would be beneficial but not necessary.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills is a must for this role
