The Training & Evangelism (T&E) team is a highly interdisciplinary part of the Cisco Meraki organisation. We drive market adoption of Meraki by developing, promoting and delivering scalable programs that build knowledge and create enthusiasm among participants. Our programs’ audiences include reseller, service provider, and distribution partners, customers, and the rest of the Cisco organisation.

Our scalable programs are managed at the global level but delivery strategy and operations have been regionalised to better support Meraki’s go-to-market goals in-region. In this position you will be responsible for developing strategies, leading initiatives and driving program impact for T&E in the APJC (Asia Pacific Japan China) region. This role is full time, based in our Sydney office.

You will work closely with the rest of the T&E team, other Meraki departments, and relevant Cisco stakeholders to identify, prioritise, and execute strategic initiatives that will grow the team’s impact in-region.

Ideal candidates will have exceptional strategic thinking and analytical skills, excellent communication capabilities with the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships, and the ability to leverage data and consider the greater strategic context in making informed recommendations.

  

Responsibilities:

  • Leverage qualitative information and quantitative data to develop short, medium, and long-term regional strategies for T&E
  • Conduct analyses to assess viable strategies, prioritise initiatives and determine impact
  • Define communications plans to ensure stakeholders are aware of and aligned with T&E’s regional strategic priorities
  • Partner with team members and relevant stakeholders to define and implement initiatives
  • Build tools to track progress against plans, making adjustments or recommendations as needed
  • Support and guide Regional Coordinators in the strategic execution of programs, working as a team to drive success and impact in-region
  • Set regional training and impact targets in collaboration with Program Managers
  • Identify and act on opportunities to improve efficiency and success of programs
  • Serve as the T&E representative in-region by qualifying requests based on their alignment to the team’s mission and function

  

Qualifications:

  • 3-4 years of experience in consulting, or equivalent experience and skills
  • Bachelor’s degree from a top university
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Understanding of strategic frameworks & concepts
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated initiative and independence in structuring & solving problems
  • Proven track record leading cross-functional strategic projects
  • Ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects
  • Exceptional communication & relationship-building skills
  • Energetic and personable approach
  • Strong organisation with great attention to detail
  • Demonstrated accountability and reliability
  • Can-do attitude, with a willingness to roll up their sleeves and tackle any task
  • Ability to work in a team and thrive in an extremely fast-paced, dynamic environment
