Position Purpose

As the Marketing Lead, you will be responsible for managing the brand positioning and marketing activities of The Safetrac Group’s two online products, Safetrac and Boardtrac.

We are a small subsidiary business wholly owned by MinterEllison law firm.

One of our products is a mature business, with a much-needed marketing focus. The other is a start-up business that needs a go-to-market and launch strategy.

This is a relatively autonomous, hands-on role that requires the applicant to operate as a one-stop marketing department. You will be responsible for creating the strategic plan, nurturing and growing our brands, while conducting day to day audience acquisition activities via HubSpot. There are no direct reports and you will be required to roll up your sleeves and work hard to position our businesses for significant growth. This is an ideal role for an experienced marketing professional with both brand and social media experience who has an entrepreneurial flair that wants to significantly contribute to the brand identity and growth of our growing businesses. You will work closely with the National Sales Manager and report to the CEO.

  • Work collaboratively with the CEO, Sales Director, Clients Services, Content, Tech & Product teams, and external agencies to plan and deliver digital assets as part of integrated marketing campaigns. Submit briefs and execute projects for individual product campaigns.

  • Assist the team in managing the marketing budget including vendor set-up, invoicing, and bill payment. Manage the billing process with external partners and internal teams.
  • Be the team lead in understanding our key digital marketing measurement tools e.g. Google Adwords, Google Analytics, HubSpot. Ensure all digital assets are properly tagged for measurement
  • Reviews of site metrics and customer feedback to recommend strategies to maximize online effectiveness and customer satisfaction, and partner with internal teams and external agencies to implement changes.
  • Ability to gather deep local customer insights & intelligence – be the expert on customer segmentation and prospects; interfacing with our customers, feeding insights into local strategy & managing customer case studies/content.
  • Drive and support strategic projects and initiatives as needed, including campaign work across social, brand, MinterEllison PR & performance channels
