Southcare is now looking for an experienced Marketing Officer to join the team on a part-time basis (0.4 FTE) working 2 days a week (days and hours flexible).

Key Responsibilities

As the Marketing Officer you will:

  • Assist to develop, edit and distribute blog, video and audio content in-line with inbound marketing strategy
  • Execute and maintain digital marketing campaigns to drive leads
  • Develop and execute social content (Facebook, website, other)
  • Coordinate and deliver Southcare regular events as well as other marketing related opportunities as they arise
  • Develop communication pieces and collateral e.g. monthly social centre newsletter using Canva
  • Assist with general duties as required

Selection Criteria (Essential)

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in a similar role
  • Willingness to work within Southcare's mission and values
  • Well-developed verbal and written skills in order to generate social media posts
  • Demonstrated ability to use design software and create quality publications and collateral
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills, marketing coordination, data entry, progress logs, document preparation, diligent follow-up
  • Experience using a customer relationship management (CRM) system to place content on a website
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a team
  • Sound administration skills
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
  • Current C class driver's licence
  • A satisfactory National Police Clearance that meets the requirements of the Aged Care Act.

 Desirable:

  • Experience in aged care, human services, social work, behavioural science or the health professions
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the ageing process and community / flexible care programmes
  • Demonstrated understanding of person-centred care
