Are you an ambitious EL 1 equivalent with experience working as a Fundraising Manager and would love to work for one of Australia’s most iconic locations? Do you have knowledge of the not for profit sector and want to transfer it to a dynamic and exciting new role? This sough t after role is offering a 12 month contract for the successful person.
Reporting to the Head of Communications and Marketing and working closely with the Marketing and Sponsorship Team, the Fundraising Manager works to deliver best practice fundraising practices to maximise fundraising income for the organisation.
You will perform a range of tasks including the following:
- Establish and manage a range of fundraising programs including community fundraising and workplace giving to achieve the organisations revenue targets.
- Steward the Campaigns and programs
- Design and implement internal donation procedures to support a positive, streamlined donor experience.
- Drive digital fundraising to improve online donor acquisition and increase income
- Develop and implement quality integrated fundraising campaigns promoting giving to the organisation
- Perform day-to-day functions as required by the Head of Communications and Marketing and the Communications and Marketing section within the context of the Memorial and its role.
- Other duties as required
Significant experience in establishing and maintaining fundraising programs and supporting business processes within a major charity or cultural institution, a strong understanding and practical experience working within the legislative and regulatory requirements of not for profit sector in Australia, including Australian Privacy Principles.
Operational experience establishing fundraising specific CRM processes, as well as you will have effective written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills
You must be an Australian Citizen to be considered and you must have be flexible in your approach to business.
