Who are we?
We are a not-for profit organisation operating an innovative new program, working to deliver culturally appropriate, tailored programs, designed to both increase the number and range of carers across NSW and support them through their journey as foster carers, guardians and adoptive parents, enabling them to achieve the best possible outcomes for the children in their care.
The Role:
We’re looking forward to the selected Digital Producer to take on responsibility in this newly created role for our program’s digital assets, the development and growth of digital communication over time that and align our marketing objectives. You will create a road map of digital initiatives and define requirements and scope for each, build project plans and managing the digital budget to achieve successful business outcomes.
Reporting directly to the Marketing & Communications Manager you will work closely with the Training & Support Manager to ensure our training packages and calendar is accessible to all clients within our target groups. You will build external relationships with CRM developers, production agencies and suppliers. You will deliver the program’s service commitment by managing content creation and digital platforms including the website, CRM and case management systems and social media channels. You will also implement processes that underpin the marketing automation system.
The Digital Producer is also the main point of contact for the external IT Support Vendor and will ensure the seamless resolution of IT queries for Program staff.
To be considered for and ultimately be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Qualifications in Digital Media, Multi Media and or Communications
- Experience using contemporary website content management systems
- Strong capability in database usage, CRM and marketing automation platforms
- SEO/ SEM strategy and implementation
- Strong understanding of analytics and online performance reporting
- Ability to convert insights and user experience into demonstrable, measurable and relevant outcomes
- Experience in content development and publishing: development and publishing of website content (ie training materials, user resource materials, blog posts)
- Experience in Social Media: dashboard and production, development, publishing and management of content across multiple social media channels
- Experience tracking, monitoring and reporting on usage and engagement across digital channels
- Experience managing external vendor relationships
- Experience in creating customer journeys and personas
- Exposure to community outreach/ development with a strong audience focus
- Superior writing skills: ability to write social media posts, blogs, edit contributions from colleagues
- Experience utilising data, analytics, insights and research to form decisions and recommendations
Whilst not essential, a background in community outreach or NGO environments with a strong audience focus will be highly regarded.
The role will be engaged on a fixed-term basis of up to 3 years, with an opportunity for extension, subject to program duration. In exchange for your commitment and experience, we offer a family friendly and flexible working environment.
