We are looking to appoint a highly experienced and motivated Marketing and Communications Coordinator.  

This position will be reporting to the Client Relations Manager and responsibilities may include:

Marketing

• Champion the graphic design of the Company’s brand and identity with the view to build on the Company’s value proposition
• Ensure all channels of communications are presented to a high standard, are delivered on time and are ‘on message’ and in line with the Company’s brand and image.
• Ensure the Company website is up to date with relevant and on-brand content in line with campaign requirements and/or communication and marketing plans.
• Manage the Company’s online presence and information including the Company’s intranet and website updates, news, online blogs and social media. This will include leading periodical reviews and identifying improvements for the website and online community engagement and maintaining and building Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter followings.
• Support the Business Development team in the execution of internal and external events including conferences and exhibitions promoting the Company’s products and services to the Offshore / Oil and Gas / Maritime and Aviation environments and other environments as required.
• Provide marketing advice and assistance to management and staff as required.
• Create and maintain a marketing photograph library of ‘approved for use’ images.
• Create and maintain capability case study library
• Monitor the Company’s marketing efforts and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and maintain a record of ‘learnings’ and recommend improvements to senior management

• Assist with business development initiatives as required.

Communications

• Lead the development and implementation of communications strategies in order to create and maintain a visible profile for the Company with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Design and prepare external correspondence and work closely with staff to ensure the accurate promotion of the Company’s services and products whilst ensuring that the material conforms to the Company’s brand and identity.
• Prepare written communication materials, including writing copy, editing, proofing and managing the production process ensuring that all advertising and marketing material conforms to the Company’s brand and identity. This includes Media releases, which may require some research and close collaboration with internal professional staff.
• Monitor the Company’s communications and report on the effectiveness of communications campaigns, media monitoring, website hits, social media engagement, communications audits, and learning activities as required for reporting.

At the minimum, to be successful in winning this role you will have: 

• Degree in Public Relations / Media / Marketing / Communications or the like
• Demonstrated knowledge of digital and social media marketing with proven brand development / growth / results
• 2 + years working in a similar role
• Extensive demonstrable Marketing and Public Relations experience

You will be required to undertake and pass background checks and to be eligible for this role.

This is initially a three month full time casual role with an opportunity to extend or become permanent for the right candidate.
