Your new company
Established in 1959, the Heart Foundation is an iconic national charity. The Heart Foundation’s vision is the realisation of an Australia free of Heart Disease, and its mission is to prevent heart disease and improve the heart health and quality of life of all Australians through its work in prevention, support and research. The Heart Foundation seeks to achieve its vision and mission by raising funds to support it programs and activities.

The Heart Foundation is investing more than $50m over the next three years to fund cardiovascular research and support early to mid-career researchers. In addition to Research, the Heart Foundation delivers national programs aimed at supporting those at risk and those living with heart disease, including their families and carers.

Heart Disease is the leading cause of death of Australians, but awareness of that message, particularly amongst young Australians, is low. As a result, it is important that the Heart Foundation identifies and understands the changing demographic and how it can continue to build awareness of this message, the work it does and the information and platforms available.

The Heart Foundation is currently undergoing a major push to re-launch its brand and is focused on building a central, commercially focused, high performing communications and marketing to team to support the 2018 – 2020 strategic plan. It is for this reason the Heart Foundation is currently seeking to recruit an Internal Communications Advisor.
