This is an incredibly exciting opportunity for a digital content assistant to join an Australian retailer based in Melbourne. Our client wants to take their online retail presence to the next level by producing world class content for use across their online channels.
Duties
- Regularly review the content on the organisations website to ensure their publishing standards are maintained.
- Coordinate, create, maintain and publish customer facing and non-customer facing content for use across all digital channels which include, Product and non-product information such as Gear Guides / Buying Guides, Checklists, Articles or Blogs; Store & Event information and Competitions.
- Detect and correct product data for eCommerce and produce SEO optimised product descriptions.
- Create, maintain or edit promotional activities on the company’s website such as carousels,
- Ensure content on websites are accurately keyed and maintained.
- Resolve issues regarding data effectively and efficiently.
- Participate in key business events
- Analyse eCommerce related data sets and provide deliverable recommendations for improvement
- Degree qualified in Business, Advertising or Communications
- Knowledge of online business and a willingness to learn how to engage with customers and improve sales.
- Ability to effectively prioritise tasks to ensure content is accurately created and maintained
- Possess highly articulate, grammatically correct copy and writing skills.
- Have an exceptional attention to detail.
- Be committed, driven, resilient and comfortable working in a strong, fast paced business environment.
- Takes initiative to get results and a problem solver who approaches obstacles in creative, assertive and solution-oriented ways.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task various projects within tight time frames.
- Motivation to engage and manage contact with multiple internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and autonomously in a challenging, hands on environment
- Ideally previous experience with Product Inventory Management systems (PIM) and website content management systems (CMS).
