In this busy long term contract role key responsibilities include -
Ensuring the provision of high quality media and communications collateral including press releases, features and background briefing documents.
Acting as primary point of contact for requests for information or media enquiries or responses from senior leaders and various external stakeholders.
Establishing, building and maintaining effective working relationships with internal staff and key media contacts to support the effective management of the organisations priorities and reputation
To be successful in this role, you must be able to demonstrate the following experience -
Extensive experience in media relations/corporate communications in a government or corporate role
Tertiary qualifications in communications or an associated discipline;
Demonstrated experience in writing and editing for internal and external audiences
Senior Stakeholder communications experience
Excellent written communication skills.
