Our client, a large government department, currently require an experienced Community Relationship Manager to join their team on an initial 3 month contract (extensions highly likely). The role will be based in Parramatta and has a maximum pay rate of $475 per day plus Super.

The Role:

looking for a dynamic Community Relations Manager to help reach out to inter and external stakeholders through social media channels. If you are an experienced social media expert with the skills and a desire to grow an important community channel, we want to hear from you.

Accountabilities

• Community management - Create engaging conversations via social media channels and monitor responses.

• Social listening - Manage social media issues via our social listening tools.

• Reporting - Use the department's analytics tools Hootsuite, Brandwatch and Meltwater to provide accurate reporting on the performance of the department’s social channels and social media conversations.

• Contribute to the development of high quality content for the department's digital and social channels.

Essential

• Experience in a digital marketing or communications role either within an agency or client side.

• Experience using social and digital analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Brandwatch and Meltwater.

• Understanding of popular social networks and social management tools- design, functionality, users.

• Demonstrated expertise in engaging and moderating social media communities.

• Note that evening and weekend work may be required for this role.

• Previous government could prove beneficial.
