  • Manage the inconic Reclink Community Cup events
  • Contribute to improving the lives of disadvantaged Australians
  • Work in a national not for profit organisation

Responsible for the management and organisation of Reclink Australia fundraising activities, including the Melbourne Reclink Community Cup, supporting the organising committees in Hobart, Adelaide, Perth, Sydney, Brisbane and Canberra, Frank Galbally Cup and other fundraising events.

Manage, prepare submissions and secure national sponsorship for the Reclink Community Cups and major events.

Manage Reclink's volunteer program for the Reclink Community Cup events and major events.

Responsible for Reclink Australia's calendar of events.

Provide monthly reports on events, volunteers and sponsorship.

Responsible for managing events budgets and meeting budget targets for events.

At least 5 years demonstrated experience with a successful track record in managing and delivering major community and corporate events, and recent experiences in coordinating large scale music festivals will be highly regarded .

Tertiary qualifications in events management, marketing or a related degree.

Well-developed knowledge of event management and event compliance requirements.

Demonstrated experience in securing major sponsors for events.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Excellent interpersonal skills and excellent attention to detail.

Team player with initiative to work individually as appropriate.

Sound knowledge of Word, Excel, Email and Internet.

A current drivers licence and own vehicle is highly recommended.

Mandatory a successful National Police Check and Working with Children Check.

The position will work 30 hours per week with additional hours during the Melbourne Reclink Community Cup.

The successful candidate may be required to travel interstate to manage events.

The successful candidate will be required to work on the weekends the major events are held.

An attractive salary package with be negotiated with successful candidate.
