We are now seeking a Category Manager to drive sales and profit growth within the Lens product category for the Luxottica retail business, including both the optical retail store network and e-commerce for Australian and New Zealand. In this role your key focus areas will be the delivery of development of category plans aligned to organisational strategic direction and partnering with cross functional teams to optimise execution; Effective management of point of purchase drivers through in-depth category, market and commercial understanding; and developing collaborative supplier partnerships to deliver the above.
To be considered you will have relevant tertiary qualifications with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a commercial and/or retail environment including product or category management. You will be competent in presenting to groups, have strong commercial awareness and solid analytical skills. Competency in Microsoft office applications, especially excel, SAP knowledge and excellent communication skills will assist in your delivery of successful outcomes. Strong influencing capability and effective stakeholder management with strong project management skills will also assist. Optical experience is advantageous however not essential.
