The Role
We have an exceptional career opportunity for a unique individual who will join an established & professional training/accessory team based at our Award Winning Head Office in Pemulwuy (near Greystanes).
You will need to have a desire to establish and/or progress your career in product management, be self-motivated, proficient at time management and be driven by a strong need to achieve.
The individual who will secure this key role will be described as a people person with a flair for managing multiple tasks and projects, commercially focused, with excellent time management/problem solving skills and the ability to adapt to changes dictated by market conditions and customer needs.
Responsibilities of the Categories assigned:
- Market assessment.
- Marketing and Release.
- Merchandising.
- Staff and Dealer training via various platforms such as Social Media and Web links back to Makita (Australia) web page.
- Updating of Catalogue information as well as web site information.

Skills and Experience
- Power tool and Accessories industry knowledge and it's application (desirable).
- Highly organised and able to manage/prioritise workload whilst sticking to deadlines.
- The ability to thrive when learning new things/picking up product information easily.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Clear and effective communication skills with a knack for presenting in front of groups (large or small).
- A creative flair particularly in PowerPoint.
- Superior computer skills e.g. MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook.
- Ability to react, act and adapt within a fast-paced environment.
