The Position
St John of God Murdoch Hospital has a rare and exciting opportunity for a dynamic and motivated Communications Coordinator to join our team.
Reporting to the Manager Communications, you will provide key support to the Marketing team in media relations, writing publications, managing marketing materials, social media and digital marketing. You will also contribute to event organisation and liaising with key stakeholders.
Demonstrated experience in a similar role, high-level communication and interpersonal skills and a sound understanding of digital software application is essential for further consideration.
This position will be offered on a permanent part time basis, working 40.8 hours per fortnight.
The successful candidate will have:
- Ability to work within and contribute to the Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care.
- Demonstrated event coordination skills and experience.
- Demonstrated professional corporate communications writing skills and experience across a variety of mediums.
- Highly developed interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills with ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently on multiple projects with minimal supervision.
- Experience in managing the design and print production process.
- Working knowledge of typical office, creative and digital software applications.
