The opportunity
The continued growth of Urbis in Brisbane means we are looking for two motivated and energised professional Engagement Consultants to join our Social Planning team on a causal basis for some upcoming projects. We are looking for energetic and passionate team players seeking an opportunity to be involved in city-shaping projects for a diverse range of private and public sector clients.
About You
As a Consultant your responsibilities will include:
- Researching relevant policy, social trends and local knowledge to help shape engagement and research projects as required;
- Interpreting and applying a range of social and community policy trends particularly within a property planning and development environment; and being able to provide practical and analytical advice in terms of community benefits and impacts;
- Working with consultants, graphic designers and administration teams to coordinate logistics and materials for engagement projects; and
- Working alongside other professionals on a range of multi-disciplinary projects, working to specification, to deadlines, within budget and with a commercial outcome.
The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate a combination of the following technical skills, attributes and experience:
- Demonstrated experience and ability in undertaking social planning, social research and/or engagement projects ideally gained in a consultancy or local government environment;
- Tertiary qualifications relevant to social planning, communications and/or engagement are desired but not essential.
