Each day you come to work at finder.com.au, you will be sitting in a comfortable Aeron chair and working at a comfortable workstation in our stunning Sydney CBD office. The kitchen is well stocked with healthy snacks, drinks, fresh fruit and catered lunches are provided daily.

Who are you?
As the Energy Publisher at finder, you will be the focal point for our expansion of energy comparison. You will be expected to have a thorough understanding and demonstrated experience in content creation and improvement, SEO, CRO, ideas generation and other aspects of digital marketing. The ability to write and edit clear, concise and engaging copy is essential. While your work will vary every day, your ultimate goal is to make finder the number one destination for Australians looking to compare energy products and services.   

Responsibilities:
  • Drive growth - As a Publisher, you are responsible for the overall strategy and growth of a category at finder. Working with the Group Publisher, you will research and generate content ideas and strategies to deliver this growth and success
  • Collaborate with Editor/Writers - The Editors/Writers in a niche are responsible for the voice, editorial standards and content planning of a niche. The Publisher needs to engage with the editors and writers to execute the content
  • Collaborate with Publishing Support - Publishing support maintains our data for our comparison engines. The Publisher will work closely with the team to ensure data is consistent, accurate and compliant
  • Collaborate with the Client Services team and clients - The Publisher works closely with the Client Services team to drive revenue, ensuring that content is designed to improve conversion, facilitate account growth and manage client expectations
  • Collaborate with UX, Product and Design - Work with the wider product team to continually improve comparison engine and content design for optimised user experience. Assist in user behaviour research
  • Collaborate with Public Relations team - Work closely with finder’s PR team to develop ideas, pitches and survey questions to accelerate finder’s dominance in the category
  • Content production - Produce and publish (with the assistance of an editorial and publishing support team) excellent digital content for finder’s audience
  • Content formatting, layout and creative design - pay careful attention to the design and layout of all content to optimise for readability, user trust and CRO. Provide feedback and input into website design and technical developments to the Product and Design team
  • Manage content production process - Lead an effective and efficient content production process within your niche; coordinate a team of writers and publishing support team members to exceed content production goals
  • Ensure content is of the highest quality -  Be responsible for ensuring finder’s content ‘breaks the mold’ and is innovative, informative and delights our users
  • Multimedia creation - incorporate and help create rich media into the website including video, images, diagrams and graphics
Skills & Experience:
  • Passion for creating digital content and the art of making remarkable, innovative web pages that delight our users
  • Extensive digital content production experience
  • Incredible attention to detail and experience in leveraging large data sets for content production
  • A strong design aesthetic and an ability to understand and translate user needs
  • Ability to execute end-to-end on a defined content strategy
  • Experience in managing (and improving) content production processes
  • Ability to collaborate with varied teams and multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to take part in a good debate in the interest of improving our content and our user experience across our websites
  • Exposure to a client-facing environment in the digital space
  • Experience of reviewing content performance post-publish
  • Continuous developing and improving your business and technical skills. This will also be facilitated through company-funded training.
