Specialised food research company Freshlogic, is seeking an Analyst with an interest in innovative market research and an affinity for fresh food.
Freshlogic is a specialised provider of food market insights and analysis, with deep expertise in assessing the dynamics of fresh food markets.
We are looking for a full-time analyst to work in our team. The role will primarily provide support to the delivery of Freshlogic’s current services, which involves working with a range of unique data gathering methods and analysis processes, plus the opportunity to be involved in developing a web-based service delivery model.
The role would suit a candidate who has recently completed a relevant undergraduate degree and understands the commercial dynamics of the food market. Relevant experience and technical data management skills will be considered as advantages.
Role responsibilities
- Support the delivery of the Freshlogic’s food market information and insight services.
- Analysis of supply chain, consumer and other data relevant to the offer.
- Contribute to the development of web-based delivery of services.
The ideal candidate would have:
- A robust attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously.
- The technical skill and software understanding to support data processing and visualisation.
- An understanding of the principles of data collection, analysis and commercial use.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- A willingness to embrace the varied work agenda that is inherent in a specialist business.
The role offers a salary package in line with experience in a well located open plan office in Burwood Road, Hawthorn. This location is easily accessed by public transport and is close to a varied mix of retail nearby. An understanding of the current Australian food market dynamics and an interest in fresh food will be considered an advantage.
