Our client, one of Australias largest education & professional development providers, currently seek an Events Coordinator to join their large, fun & friendly marketing & communications team. You will be primarily responsible for organising and managing both internal & external events across the organisation. These can vary from client luncheons & open days, to large conferences. Using your events background, you will also be tasked with; creating agendas, inviting guest speakers, assisting with stakeholder enquiries, aiding with print & digital advertising, evaluating the effectiveness of events, and dealing with sponsors among other duties.
Based within a 5 minute walk of North Sydney Station and with free parking onsite, they provide a comfortable work environment designed to encourage creativity and input. They also offer an excellent work/life balance, with flexible working hours perfect for those with children or simply looking to enjoy the remainder of the summer.
This is a full-time, permanent position due to start ASAP. You will be working within a friendly team of 18 and reporting into an approachable Production Manager. You will be paid between $68 & 75k + Super depending on experience, and after 3 weeks in the role, you will also be given an Opal Card containing $80 worth of value to aid with travel.
The successful candidate will come from a Events background & have;
- A minimum of 2 years experience working in a similar Events role
- Experience dealing with multiple stakeholders across an organisation
- Solid organisational & multi-tasking skills, as well as the ability to adapt to different situations quickly and effectively.
- Excellent written & verbal communications skills
- A fun, friendly 'can-do' attitude.
