The hospitality precinct has become one of The City's favourite meeting places presenting a variety of food and beverage offerings to include; Petition Beer Corner, Petition Kitchen and Petition Wine Bar & Merchant.

COMO The Treasury houses 48 elegantly appointed suites, ranging from 50sqm to 120sqm, with 2 restaurants, bar, private meeting and dining rooms, lounges, a library, spa, gym and pool facility. Role

We are looking for a talented Marketing Executive to undertake marketing projects for the benefit of the State Buildings. You will organise creative campaigns, promotional events and execute marketing plans with the sales team and department managers.

The ideal candidate will be passionate for the “art” of marketing and will have an abundance of ideas for building efficient strategies. You must bring forth a strong arsenal of techniques and skills to promote our products, services and public image.

The goal is to reach out to the market and cultivate the customer’s interest in our products and services in ways that strengthen our reputation and facilitate our continuous growth.

Duties

As an ambassador for our commitment to individuality and personalised service, you will use your expertise to develop, establish and maintain quality standards and procedures.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to;

• Social media and website content development and management
• Develop efficient and intuitive marketing strategies together with the Director of Marketing
• Conduct market research and analysis to evaluate trends, brand awareness and competition ventures
• Initiate and control surveys to assess customer requirements and dedication
• Maintain relationships with media vendors and publishers to ensure collaboration in promotional activities
• Monitor progress of campaigns using various metrics and submit reports of performance

Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate will possess 3 years' experience in a marketing role in a high end, luxury environment ideally within the hospitality industry. The role will require an exceptional level of written and verbal communication, and commitment to providing an outstanding guest experience.

• Proven experience as marketing executive or similar role
• Strong knowledge of social media and web content management
• Good written communication/ content writing skills
• Strong relationship management skills
• Proficient in MS Office and marketing software (e.g. CRM)
• Familiarity with social media and web analytics (e.g. Facebook Business Manager, Google Analytics)
• Good understanding of market research techniques, data analysis and statistics methods
• Creativity and commercial awareness
• Adaptable, reliable and flexible with a positive attitude
• BSc/BA in marketing, business administration or relevant discipline
