ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Field Service Technician to install, service and maintain our CNC woodworking machines and edge banders throughout Melbourne. We believe in investing in our people and see this as a long-term position with scope for growth as our company expands its presence.
We are looking for a candidate who is willing to learn from an experienced technician and willing to get on site training from our partners overseas. Any previous experience servicing and maintaining machinery will be looked at positively.
Job tasks and responsibilities
- Undertaking preventative maintenance on machinery
- Provide service and customer support during field customer visits
- Manage all onsite installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks
- Trouble shoot, diagnose errors or technical problems and determine solutions
- Produce timely and detailed service reports and document processes
- Sourcing parts and providing technical assistance
You will have:
- Electrical and/or mechanical experience and qualifications
- A great attitude and willing to work and make a positive impact on the business
- Any experience with machinery would be advantageous
- Be willing to travel for training in the first 12 months overseas
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills
The role will include a base salary plus super and will include mobile phone and tools required for the job. Salary is negotiable, based on previous experience.
