Overview:
Skout Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of Broadspectrum for a Trade Assistant working in a mechanical environment on one of Australia’s defence bases. This role will be located at Puckapunyal base. ASAP start. Pay rate will be approximately $27 - $29 P/H. Hours of work are full time Monday to Thursday (7am - 3:45pm) Friday (7am - 12pm) on a 3 month temporary contract with an opportunity to move permanent.
To be successful in this role, you will have;
- A Mechanical aptitude.
- The ability to perform maintenance tasks on vehicles under the supervision of a trades person.
- Ability to follow direction and have an attention to detail.
- Able to work as part of a team.
Requirements:
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical.
- Australian Citizen.
- Australian State or Territory driver’s licence.
Due to the nature of the client, successful candidates will be required to go through a Defence Security Clearance with a current Federal Police Check.
