We are recruiting on behalf of an auto recycling business that has a clear vision for the future and has invested accordingly to get there.  This business invests heavily in systems, people, process and training to enable the achievement of its goals.  

About the role

• Focus on processing/dismantling vehicles under cover
• Placing barcode labels on each component
• Performing appropriate testing of engines as required
• Safe usage of equipment e.g. hoists, saws, and hand tools
• Ensuring OH&S policies and processes are complied with
• Work closely with the warehouse manager to support sales

Skills and experience

1. Experience in automotive dismantling or mechanical repairs is a must.
2. Fork lift licence and current drivers licence.
3. Experience using the Pinnacle yard management system is a bonus.
4. Basic computer literacy including the use of excel will add value
5. Focus on working in a safe environment and willingness to lead by example in this area.
6. Ability to identify parts is very important.
