Our client is looking for a Maintenance Fitter who is able to work Monday to Fridays on afternoon shift to ensure that machines and equipment onsite are safe, working efficiently and are fit for purpose through preventative and emergency breakdown maintenance, overhaul and repair of machines and equipment, thereby contributing to the productivity of the Manufacturing Department by optimising machine ‘up time’ and increasing quality and OEE outputs.


To be considered for this role you will need;
•Trade certification (desirable)
•Current LF forklift licence
•Elevated Work Platform ticket (desirable)
•Working at Heights ticket (desirable)
● Minimum of 5 years' experience in an industrial manufacturing plant
•Experience in Production/Manufacturing environments, in a Maintenance support role, with the ability to demonstrate accomplishments
•Knowledge and exposure to hydraulics & pneumatics
•Demonstrated understanding of sound WHS Management systems.
•Anticipates and meets production needs.
•Enthusiastic team member with the ability to work autonomously as required.
•Is committed to improving services and organisational effectiveness.
•Sound problem solving skills and analytical capability.
•Follows through on requests or complaints in a calm and professional manner at all times and keeps customer up to date on progress.
•Able to work with limited supervision
•Strong interpersonal skills, strengths in working in Team & Autonomously
•Previous experience with CAD, Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and Microsoft Suite, with the ability to interpret Drawings and user Manuals.

This position will be subject to a pre-employment medical including drug & alcohol testing. Initially offered as a casual position with the potential of being offered as a permanent role after initial qualifying period for the successful candidate.
