The successful applicant will have a thoroughly professional approach to their work and be customer service oriented as there is an expectation to provide a professional level of customer support.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

• An Australian recognised diploma or equivalent in electronics
• Ideally, at least 5 years' practical experience in electronic repairs to component level
• Gaming Industry Experience highly regarded
• Ball Grid Array (BGA) knowledge and relevant expereince
• In-depth knowledge and adherance to Electrical Safety
• Strong fault finding skills with multilayer circuit boards
• Experience with miniature devices and RF
• Excellent communication skills, as this role may require contact with clients
• A sound knowledge of PC and PDA hardware architecture
• Experienced with BGA rework and replacement using BGA rework equipment is essential
• Experienced in the use of test equipment including digital oscilloscopes and huntron
• Sound comms skills, including USB, WiFi, RS232 etc.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics
• Skilled in soldering techniques to IPC standards
• Ability to decipher boards and implement repairs without the aid of circuit diagrams
• Experience in fault finding using Windows & Linux platforms is highly regarded
• Special consideration will be given to candidates with experience repairing IGT NEO, Konami KP3, AGT-A560, Aristocrat Helix and Nexcom logic board repairs

The primary responsibility for this role includes:

• Ensure that the processing of repairs is conducted efficiently and in a timely manner
• Use of ERP system
