We’ve just won a major tender and that’s created a vacancy for a specialist in the mechanical/fabrication industry. With over 12 years of rewarding involvement in the local metal trades sector, we’re looking to build on one of our core strengths and passions.
 
About the role
At IRP, our emphasis is on creating long term partnerships with clients and helping them secure the right people. And of course, it’s just as important to help progress great candidates through to securing and retaining their ideal job.
 
To achieve this outcome, you’ll carry out a range of critical day to day activities, including:

• Visiting a variety of workplaces to gain an in-depth understanding of your clients and become their ‘go to person’ for all recruitment and staffing needs
• Identifying and recruiting the best candidates for your vacancies
• working with our marketing co-ordinator to create responsive candidate/applicant marketing campaigns
• proactively managing and maintaining regular contact with talent lists of metal trades candidates
• Providing a variety of post placement, site based services to clients and candidates
• Applying your metal trades industry knowledge to recruitment and labour management based solutions

 
About you:

• Extensive experience in the metal or mechanical trades sector
• Have a strong customer service focus and enjoy working with people
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage others and build lasting relationships
• Be well organised and capable of managing several tasks at once
• A positive, can do attitude
• Strong work ethic, along with drive and passion for success
