Industrial Cleaner – Fulltime

We currently have a fulltime Industrial Cleaning Position located at a prominent power station at Yallourn.

The position on offer is a rare opportunity and offers a 9 day fortnight with some shut down work on request.  

We are looking for a person who sees safety as a priority, is self- motivated, team attitude and has experience with Industrial Cleaning to join our team based at Yallourn Power Station.

In this position your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Industrial Cleaning &  Vacuuming
• Bobcat Operator (not essential but willing to obtain ticket)
• Clean up of Coal Dust & Spills
• High pressure washing – Boiler Washes
• General maintenance of equipment

Successful candidates must be highly reliable, physically fit for manual duties and prepared to work overtime including after hours and some weekends.

To be successful you will need:

• Current Victorian Driver’s Licence
• Bobcat Ticket
• Computer Skills
• Literacy & Numeracy Skills
• Experience in Industrial Cleaning will be a high advantage
  Familiar with JSEA & Risk Assessments
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Flexibility to work after hours and some weekends
• A strong commitment to and understanding of Quality, Occupational Health Safety and Environmental Management systems
