Hairdresser
PART TIME opportunity
In the role of Hairdresser you will be mainly responsible for styling, cutting, colouring and treating client?s hair and as requested application of make-up for an array of occasions. Having a consistent client base you will need to be confident in recommending at home care products, giving advice to clients and maintaining a clean and hygienic working space. Due to the amount of functions and events occurring within the hotel, there will also be a lot of event styling including a focus on hair ups. Being a part of a 5 Start Hotel property you will need to ensure a high level of service is maintained and delivered at all times.
Duties will include:
· Meeting and greeting guest and clients and consulting with them to determine their needs
· Cutting, colouring, styling and treating our client?s hair
· Make-up application for a variety of occasions including bridal and special events
· Providing information to our clientele about our products
· Maintaining the salon, ensuring it is neat and presentable at all times
Skills and Experience:
· A nationally recognised accredited qualification in Hairdressing
· A certificate in make-up application is advantageous
· Extensive and substantial work experience in a high end Hair Salon
· Experience in all aspects of hair including cutting, blow wave, curling, colouring and treatment
· Immaculate and professional grooming and presentation maintained at all times
· Willingness and flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends (must be available Thursday ? Sunday)
