Onsite Rental Group is a specialist B2B equipment rental business delivering superior hire experience and performance to many of Australia's mining, construction, industrial government and event organisations.

Job tasks and responsibilities

Do you consider yourself a handy person?  We are currently seeking a Yardperson to join our team based at our Derrimut site in Melbourne West. 

The focus of this position is the preparation/servicing our equipment prior to or during rental.

This role will have you:

• Assisting in maintaining effective stock control of assets;
• Maintaining cleanliness & minor repairs to equipment; 
• Fostering relationships with key suppliers and contractors
• Inspecting assets in a timely manner after being returned by the client;
• Actively participating in the Onsite Rental Group OH&S policies and procedures including contractor management as required.

Skills and experience

You will also possess the following-

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Good communication skills;
• Current driver's license and able to drive manual vehicle;
• Forklift, EWP or OHS cards/licences not essential but are highly regarded.
