Dewhurst Furniture is seeking a motivated person to perform the role of either qualified or 4th year apprentice furniture maker. This position has high job satisfaction, very interesting work and a great workshop environment.
Applicants must be competent using all types of timber static machinery, power and hand tools. They need to be able to translate drawings and diagrams to create cutting lists and create pieces from start to finish. Experience working with solid timber is essential. CNC knowledge is a benefit but not essential.
The role includes all aspects of solid timber furniture construction as well as workshop maintenance, cleanliness and logistics.
