ROLE PURPOSE
Fabrication of Balustrades & Metalwork – Stainless Steel & Mild Steel
OPERATING ENVIRONMENT
Experienced light fabricator who is comfortable working with sheet metal between 1.2 - 5mm, and who's available to commence duties immediately at workshop in Picton NSW, or on site when needed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Tig/Mig Welding, Mild Steel, Tolerances of +/- 2mm.
Tig/Mig Welding, Stainless Steel, Tolerances of +/- 2mm.
Mig Welding of aluminium
Press and guillotine operation
Fabrication of balustrades and architectural metal work, and occasional tanks and pipework
KEY SKILLS (KPIs)
1st class Trade certificate
3-5 years minimum experience working in a sheet metal manufacturing workshop
Experience with tube and pipe welding and bending highly advantageous
Aluminium and stainless steel experience
Ability to work unsupervised and to read and interpret engineering drawings
A 'can-do' attitude amongst a team
