HD/ Mechanic Small Plant Mechanic
  
We at Reliance Recruitment are seeking a driven and self-motivated Small Mobile Plant Mechanic to join our team. This role will be offered as a temp to possible permanent position to the right candidate, based in our Workshop in Kewdale.
Your Responsibilities
Responsible for the service to our plant and equipment. Maintaining the high standards of repairs and maintenance.
Including but not limited to the following primary duties:
  

• Routine services to plant and equipment in workshop and on customer sites
• Diagnosing & fault finding mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults
• Ensuring all equipment is maintained and available for rent in premium condition
• Ensuring associated paperwork meets described guidelines

  
Your Profile
  
Successful candidates must demonstrate the following competencies to be shortlisted
  

• Relevant trade qualification
• Experience in diesel, electrical & hydraulics would be highly regarded
• Compliant with all aspects of workplace health and safety
• Be able to work well in a maintenance team as well as autonomously
• A can-do attitude with the ability to work both independently & as part of a team
• Previous experience in an equipment hire company is desirable but not crucial
• Great customer service & communication skills with neat & tidy presentation
• Driver’s license
• Able to pass drug and alcohol medical

You will also have excellent interpersonal skills with impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written. In addition, you should have a great work ethic, reliable and also be a team player.
This position requires an individual who enjoys the challenge of both field and workshop duties troubleshooting and correcting mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues, willing to work when and where needed when emergency maintenance activities are required, someone who works well on his own and can identify and respond to issues that need correcting.
