We are looking for a experienced Shift Manager to oversee the day to day operations of our Luggage Trolley Services at Melbourne Airport.
While managing shifts:
- Provide leadership to our Customer Service Representatives.
- Ensure the collection and return of luggage trolleys in all areas of the Airport to meet Key Performance Indicators.
- Ensure a high standard of customer service is maintained by Customer Service Representatives.
- Promote a safe working environment by enforcing safe work practices and procedures.
Shift Managers are expected to courteously assist Airport customers and the general public with inquiries and provide relevant information. Shift Managers are also required to assist and provide leadership to our Baggage Storage Facility, its team members and any other Smarte Carte product or services offered at Melbourne Airport.
Our ideal candidate will:
- Have at least 2 years experience in a management or supervisory role in operational or large retail environment.
- Have experience in managing a team of 10 or more.
- Have good verbal and written communication skills including report writing
- Be capable of adapting to varying tasks and performing in busy and high- pressure environment, while remaining professional.
- Be available to work a full time flexible roster (shift work), including early morning, afternoon and night shifts as well as weekends.
- Hold a current Driver’s Licence.
- Be able to secure a ASIC (Aviation Security Identification Card).
