Our Client who is a leader in their field is looking to expand their team. We are currently looking for experienced Labourers in the Metal Roofing Industry to join our team. Located in Western Sydney, have the luxury of working close to home for a reputable company.

POSITION SUMMARY: Cutting and joining metal parts for fabricating, fencing panels, gates, frames, and various other articles by applying tools. The role will require TIG/MIG Welding, the use of drop and up-cut saw and using oxyacetylene torch fabricating products to meet clients requirements.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Machine Operator
Primary Responsibilities
- Operate tools in order to aid in the manufacturing process
- Set-up, calibrate, maintain machinery and machine tools as needed
- Set up, adjust and operate to specifications.
- Fabricate directly from drawings, samples, or instructions without supervision
- Provide general hand assistance in all areas of manufacturing
- Cut steel to specified measurements
- MIG/TIG Welding
- Use hand and power tools
- Follow work instructions and orders to prioritise time to ensure expediency of output whilst maintaining quality standards
- Work in a team environment
- General Housekeeping Duties
- Undertake training and other duties as required
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Essential
- Experienced Welder
- Working with Steel and Aluminium
- Good attention to detail skills
- Ability to read and interpret plans
- Strong measuring skills
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Experience working in manufacturing or trade environment
- Reliable, trustworthy, flexible and dependable
- Right to Work in Australia
- Knowledge of Production Procedures
- Ability to work and communicate well with others
- Computer literate
