Mon - Thursday 6:30am-3:00pm and Friday 6am - 12pm
Are you looking for a change? Or are you already in the printing industry? We are looking for a mechanically minded individual who has experience with machine operating and looking for a career change in the printing and label industry. On offer, will be full-time employment for an experienced LABEL PRINTER to join their self-adhesive label operation. Our client is an Australian owned manufacturer who specializes in printing of labels and packaging for the pharmaceutical industry in the bayside area. Reporting to the Production Supervisor you will be working in the Self Adhesive Label department. We are looking for a printer or someone who has had some experience and wants to grow their skills.
Duties for this role will involve:
- You will be printing labels using UV inks
- Must be physically able as you will need to work with rolls of paper, inks, equipment and printing cylinders
- Running Mark Andy and Gallus Machines
- Must be willing to do overtime when required
- Flexible and adaptable
To be Successful:
- Similar role as an Offset, Gravure, Letterpress or digital printing experience
- Must be mechanically minded
- Proven experience in the printing industry
- Physically fit
- Machine operating experience
- Great attitude to work
- Reliable work ethic
- Excellent communication skills
- A proactive, can-do attitude
- A willingness to take instructions
- Attention to detail
- Hardworking, physically fit
- The ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
