A third-generation family owned business, LSC Security Supplies is the Electronic Security division of LSC and have been supplying the security integrator market in Australia for over 15 years. As part of the LSC family, LSC Security Supplies is able to draw on the experience and knowledge of over 90 + years of servicing the Security market in Australia and New Zealand.
About you
The ideal candidate will possess an electronic aptitude which will enable you to learn new electronic security equipment and technology rapidly. You will provide sales and support services to both staff and customers relating to electronic security hardware and software applications and repair/service issues of integrated access control and alarm products along with IP CCTV.
In this role your broad responsibilities will include:
- Provide technical advice and services relating to electronic security hardware and software applications.
- Provide product specific quotations and support for the LSC sales team and customers.
- Increase sales through relationship building, promotion of LSC products and service.
- Build customer support and loyalty by producing continuous and high-level customer service.
- Identify sales opportunities by suggesting new/alternative products.
- Undertake repairs and/or modifications to electronic security products returned to LSC.
To be successful in the role you will possess the following:
- Willingness to help and can-do attitude.
- Experience in Networked electronic security access control, alarm and CCTV systems
- A minimum of 3 years experience as Technical/Sales support within the electronic security industry is desirable.
- Commitment to high quality customer service principles.
- A good telephone manner, demonstrated patience with customers and the ability to understand problems communicated by telephone and the capacity to clearly articulate solutions by phone to customers who may have minimal levels of computer literacy.
- Proven ability to quickly, and efficiently analyse mechanical/electronic problems and to propose solutions.
- A demonstrated ability to organise their own time efficiently and is able to work to deadlines and established targets.
- Computer literate, with excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Outlook.
MUST have knowledge or experience in an electronic security industry.
