Isaac Regional Council is currently recruiting for an Apprentice Plumber based in Moranbah. This exciting opportunity combines both hands on experience and the completion of a nationally recognised qualification. This full time fixed term four (4) year position is an initiative of Isaac Regional Council which supports long term learning and development opportunities in the region.

The Apprentice Plumber position is responsible for completing studies in Plumbing and assists in the provision of providing assistance in plumbing and reticulation services in regards to the maintenance and construction of Council assets in a safe and efficient manner.
The focus of this position is to:

• Successfully complete a Certificate III in Plumbing with an accredited training provider within the term of employment;
• Learn and develop plumbing trade skills and use those skills to provide quality support to Council;
• Be a part of a multi-disciplinary trade’s team that services the Isaac Region.

The successful applicants will have a genuine interest in this discipline, the ability to adapt and work in multi-disciplinary teams, strong written and verbal communication skills and the initiative to complete duties to a high standard. Current QLD Driver’s Licence would be highly regarded.
