THE OPPORTUNITY
In the role of Building Services Carpenter, you will work independently and in a team to deliver new minor works, projects and reactive maintenance across our Sydney contracts. Given the rapid growth of The Company, this opportunity will develop your personal and professional skills with the prospect of career progression.
This is a full-time permanent position working across our sites in the Sydney Central area.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform all assigned Carpentry and General Building / maintenance duties in a timely manner
- Able to assist with scoping works and providing estimates to site supervisor
- Provide a solid trade base for mentoring apprentices
- Have a good eye for detail and quality
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers
- Adhere to and enforce Workplace Health and Safety Procedures and Safe Work Practices
COMPETENCIES & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Certificate III in Carpentry
- White Card (General Construction Induction Card)
- Minimum 2 years' post trade experience covering all aspects of the building and construction industry
- Adaptable skills from maintenance to new construction works
- Must present well, have great communication and customer relation skills
- Australian Citizenship in essential due to the nature of the contracts
- Current Drivers Licence
- A current Defence pass is highly desirable
