Maintenance Technician – Rolling Stock
Fixed Tasked Contracts
Role Based in Rouse Hill
We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Rolling Stock Technician's to join our commissioning and warranty team based in our brand depot in Rouse Hill. In this role, you will be responsible doing the testing and commissioning and implementing modifications on the Rolling Stock units in order to ensure the customer acceptance and to enhance its reliability.
Responsibilities for This Role Include:
- Participate in the modification industrialisation with the Engineers.
- Implementation of modifications according to the modification file following state-of-art and best practice.
- Ensure the test of the modification's.
- Ensure validity and certification of relevant tools.
- Populate relevant modification follow-up data base.
- Guarantee information flow with in the field modification team.
- Perform quality self-control.
- Provide support in commissioning activity.
- Respect EHS rules and any work related processes.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience Required Includes:
- Mechanical or Electrical Technician diploma with relevant licenses if appropriate.
- Highly Desirable qualifications: Diploma or certificate in Rail Operations
- Previous experience in rolling stock testing, commissioning and maintenance project.
- 5 years' experience working as a Mechanic or electrician in the railway industry.
- Very good knowledge of electrical and mechanical sub-systems.
- Knowledge of MS office.
